Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s son, August, has made his first official public appearance.
The 1-year-old was photographed sitting in the royal box at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant on Sunday, alongside his mother and father.
The tot was suitably attired for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in a sweater adorned with the Union Jack flag – and it appears he’s inherited grandma Sarah Ferguson’s red hair.
August is the first child of Princess Eugenie – whose parents are Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson and Prince Andrew – and Brooksbank, who tied the knot in 2018.
Back in February, Eugenie, 32, shared photos of her son with her 1.3 million followers on Instagram.
“Thank you for so many wonderful messages. Our hearts are full of love for this little human, words can’t express,” she captioned her post. “We are excited to be able to share these photos with you.”

Eugenie’s disgraced father – who was stripped of his military and royal titles in January after settling a civil sexual assault lawsuit – has been absent from any of the four-day Jubilee celebrations honoring Queen Elizabeth II.

He reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 last Thursday, but not everyone is convinced he actually has the virus.
“The definition of convenience. Prince Andrew testing positive for Covid and having to miss the whole Jubilee weekend celebrations,” one person tweeted.
Regardless, plenty of other royals stepped out to celebrate this weekend. In addition to August and his family, Kate Middleton, Prince William and their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – were photographed enjoying the festivities.
