The Real Housewives of Miami’s Lisa Hochstein has released a statement to The Daily Dish regarding recent headlines about her marriage to Dr. Lenny Hochstein.
“With two young children involved, as a mom I’m going to focus all of my energy and time on them,” she told The Daily Dish in a statement on Monday, May 16. “I’m blindsided by his behavior and reckless handling of the situation.”
Lisa and Lenny married in 2009. Together they have two kids, a son, Logan, 6, and daughter, Elle, 2, both born via surrogate.
Lisa has shared the ups and downs of her marriage during Season 4 the Peacock original series, RHOM, including the challenges that she and Lenny have faced in their relationship.
In an interview with The Daily Dish back in March, Lisa reflected on what it’s been like to share it all with viewers.
“Well, it’s not something I wanted to share initially because it’s such a private, personal, and embarrassing thing. But, you know, when you sign, sign up for a reality TV show you have to talk about all aspects of your life. And I understand that’s what I signed up for, so I had to go there. And also, you know, I just felt like it would come out,” she said. “And I would rather it come out on my terms, and me to be the first one to address it, rather than have one of the women or somebody kind of throw it out there or try to like catch me off guard… I felt like just talking about it on my terms and when I felt comfortable.”
