’90 Day Fiancé’ alum Caroline Schwitzky survives murder attempt

“90 Day Fiancé” alum Caroline Schwitzky’s boyfriend has been arrested and charged with first-degree attempted murder after he tried to strangle and drown her.

Jail records seen by Page Six show the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in West Palm Beach, Fla., took Cole Goldberg into custody and booked him just after midnight Monday. He was also hit with one charge of battery — touch or strike.

Goldberg, 23, was released at 10:09 p.m. Monday after posting a $60,000 bond.

The police report, obtained by TMZ, states witnesses saw Goldberg and Schwitzky, who have been dating for one year, getting into a heated argument on a boat.

The onlookers alleged the former TLC star, 32, attempted to escape Cole, but he aggressively held her to keep her on board their vessel. The pair’s struggle went on for around 20 minutes, and then Schwitzky began punching her beau’s arms to free herself.

Schwitzky, who appeared on “90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?” in 2016, eventually wrangled herself free and jumped in the water to swim to a nearby boat, according to the witnesses, but Goldberg caught up to her and allegedly tried to drown her. She was able to escape when bystanders jumped in and intervened.
