“What,” we hear you ask, “is actually the point of flourless cake?” Good question. After all, flour hardly seems like the most glamorous ingredient in the baking world — so can a cake really change that much for losing it?
As it turns out: yes. Flourless chocolate cake is far denser, fudgier, and (arguably) tastier than a normal chocolate cake. It’s essentially the perfect middle ground between chocolate cake and a chocolate bar. And our flourless chocolate cake recipe is easy to pull off, too. In fact, it’s more or less the same as baking a normal chocolate cake, only without … well, you can probably guess. Just 45 minutes for prep and baking for 8 servings of pure bliss. And easy peasy, to boot.
