It turns out Moon Knight had a secret Marvel cameo in its first episode that we all missed, and here’s who it was.
Moon Knight had a lot going on in its first episode, from hidden Easter Eggs to a possible tease of an iconic Marvel location. But it also included a secret cameo that we all missed.
At around the 8:30 mark, we see Steven Grant talking to a living statue, which writer Jeremy Slater has confirmed is in reference to Bertrand Crawley, a character from the comics.

For those who may not know, Crawley is a “homeless man in New York who often works as an informant for Moon Knight and first debuted in 1976’s Marvel Spotlight Vol. 1 #28.” He’s not a hugely significant figure in the Marvel universe, but it’s still nice that the show was able to sneak him in.
