SNK’s tactical battles need more time to launch into combat

If you are a fan of the SNK franchise and you live in love with turn-based combat, you will have more than one eye on Metal Slug Tactics. The work was presented in 2021 during the Summer Game Fest and we have been waiting expectantly for any news.

Not much light has been shed on the title and although it was scheduled to arrive in 2022, it will finally be time to wait. Dotemu and Leikir Studio they have unveiled that they have had to make “the difficult decision” to delay its launch to 2023.

25 years of Metal Slug: the classic pixelated action taken to its maximum expression

As usually happens in this type of situation, both teams have agreed to point out that they need more time to get the best possible experience. They claim to be working very hard to get to the premiere in the best way, although for now we do not have any date for their arrival.

In Metal Slug Tactics we are transferred from the run’n’gun genre to the tactical role with roguelike elements. And it is that dynamic battles will be the order of the day with super attacks, firearms of all kinds, simultaneous attacks, procedural levels and a trademark pixel art aesthetic. Nintendo Switch and PC are the systems where we can enjoy the fighting.
