PlayStation Edition is the first Sony controller compatible with iPhone and inspired by the PS5 DualSense

Sony does not stop when it comes to covering more ground. The Japanese company has already shown a new policy by starting to publish its titles on PC and now it wants to please iPhone users. And it is that Backbone One: PlayStation Edition is the company’s new official peripheral for mobile devices.

As we say, it is only compatible with iOS and its finish is very similar to what we can find in the PS5 DualSense. Sony’s next-generation console-exclusive controller inspires the Backbone One and works seamlessly with Pulse 3D headsets.

Game controls and supports for your mobile: which is better to buy? Tips and recommendations

To use it, it will be necessary to have the PS Remote Play application installed on our iPhone. Once done, we can activate the PS5 or PS4 remote play with an internet connection. Not only that, but it’s perfectly possible to play other streaming services like GeForce NOW or titles like Fantasian or Genshin Impact.

On the other hand, a Backbone application will be available that will allow us to use custom symbols and explore the various games. It will not be necessary to charge the peripheral, since the mobile itself will be in charge of sustaining the energy.

We don’t have a specific release date, but Backbone One: PlayStation Edition will be available in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. Its price will be 99.99 euros.
