Return to Monkey Island shows off its dialogue options alongside an unyielding new character

One of the big announcements of the year came from Ron Gilbert. Return to Monkey Island is the name given to the new installment of the franchise, which is the first in more than two decades. Under the umbrella of Devolver Digital, the classic humor of Guybrush Threepwood.

Now, the father of the creature has shown us a new advance. Gilbert has published a small gameplay in which we can see the protagonist on a frozen island, entering a building where he is quickly interrogated.

It’s odd that #MonkeyIslandMonday happens every 7 days. There must be some hidden pattern here. Any idea @phrenopolis? I’d ask Guybrush but he seems busy at the moment. pic.twitter.com/OZPYt2LaaN

A short exchange of words -with hesitation included- closes this short video. Recently, Gilbert warned that she would not share content about Return to Monkey Island due to the toxicity of the fans.
