Infinity Ward’s revolutionary war installment reveals its release date

the saga of Call of Duty needs a new boost. The reception of Call of Duty: Vanguard has been much lower than Activision expected and Warzone has shown signs of wear. The arrival of Caldera has not been enough to reinvigorate the battle royale.

For this reason, the company directed by Bobby Kotick has commissioned Infinity Ward to take the reins of the franchise. The studio has got down to work and promises a revolution, offering us Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II along with what it promises to be war zone 2.

The most anticipated games of 2022: Elden Ring, Pokémon Scarlet and Purple, God of War Ragnarök and all the bombshells of a devastating year

We had already seen the logo of this new installment, but now we know much more. Activision has revealed that the next October 28 will hit our screens Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Of course, we still need to confirm the launch platforms.

As you can see in the video that heads the news, different arts of the game have been shown, with what seems to be the official cover. There are several examples in which we can see the task force 141, which is made up of veterans such as Captain John Price, Simon “Ghost” Riley, John “Soap” MacTavish and Kyle “Gaz” Garrick.

On this occasion, the talent of the colonel of the Mexican special forces, Alejandro Vargas, is added. The most interesting thing we can find in the footage is a sticker on a container showing the following: J-8-22. Everything points to a clear reference to a first trailer and it is precisely on that date that Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest will take place. We will be waiting for any news.
