This afternoon EA Motive has issued a new direct of the remake of Dead Space to leave us with new details of the game, but the most important of them has been the confirmation of its release date. Fulfilling what was promised, it will finally arrive in early 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC and it will be exactly on january 27.
Next year will undoubtedly have a most terrifying start with this new version of the classic science fiction survival horror that is being rebuilt from scratch and in which the Frostbite graphics engine is being used to achieve the most impressive graphics section .
In addition to considerably improving its visual aspect with sharper images that will immerse us more fully in everything that happens, the sound will be another point that will be improved so that the experience is more immersive as we explore the corridors of the USG Ishimura. How could it be otherwise, the engineer Isaac Clarke will lead this terrifying adventure that will keep us in constant tension.
Philippe Showermesenior producer of Dead Space, has expressed how well this new version will suit the first installment of the saga, which he is convinced will delight all his followers:
Developing this new version has been a lot of fun for us at Motive as we are true fans of the franchise and want to treat it with the respect it deserves. It has been very exciting to see the reactions of the players while we showed its development. We’re making great progress on our journey and can’t wait for players old and new to see how we’ve improved the original experience in this new version to make it just as impactful in the next generation.
Our protagonist will see wrapped in a real nightmareaboard this ship inhabited by the Necromorphs, tremendously creepy monsters. Thanks to the new lighting effects and the atmosphere in general, walking through the sinister corridors of this place will be an experience never seen before in the series.
