CD Projekt RED shows off its chest with the tens of millions of copies that have been sold of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher saga

CD Projekt RED just released a report with the financial results obtained by the study during the last fiscal year. That has led him to brag about how well his two star franchises have done in terms of sales.

For example, in the case of Cyberpunk 2077 it is detailed that, from the 13 million copies sold that were reached in December 2020, the figure has risen to 18 million units bringing together all the versions in which the game is available, including the new arrivals on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

In the case of The Witcher the number is much higher, since in this case all the deliveries of the main saga are taken into account. This assumes they are more than 65 million units those that have been sold worldwide, of which more than 40 million copies correspond only to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The same report indicates that today practically half of the team is involved in the development of the new The Witcher and in another series of unannounced projects, while the other half is divided into continuing to improve the quality of Cyberpunk 2077 based on updates, work on its first expansion and also on news for GWENT.
