Since the first lawsuit against Activision Blizzard broke out in the summer of last year, the scandals have not stopped happening. The company run by Bobby Kotick it has suffered several strikes, new claims and even the purchase by Microsoft.
Now, as reported Bloomberg, a new lawsuit has been filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The text indicates that the current employee of the company, Jane Doe, has suffered sexual harassment and sexual discrimination. In turn, he indicates having experienced reprisals for referring to what happened.
A key fact is that the lawyer representing Doe is Lisa Bloom, who was already involved months ago giving voice to a worker who claimed to have suffered a similar situation. jane doe has worked at Activision Blizzard since 2017 in the position of administrative assistant in the department of Technology and Information.
It describes the claim that, on her first day at the company, Doe was pressured into consuming shots of tequila and openly recounting an embarrassing secret, all as an initiation process among the workforce. Alcohol intake was common along with sexual comments and groping towards female employees. In addition, she was encouraged to participate in a game after work in which she sought to find the most creative answer to questions of a sexual nature.

Bloom picks up that Jane Doe began to dress more conservatively in order to avoid harassment, as well as dinners with the team outside of the workplace. Although she complained about it all, the only response she got was that “it was just her bosses being nice and wanting to be her friend.” What’s more, she was urged to keep your complaints to yourself, as they could be detrimental to Activision Blizzard. Subsequently, her hostility towards her began to grow.
With the aim of getting away from that environment, Doe sought to start in other vacant positions in the company, before which always met with rejection. One of the most direct steps Doe took to defuse the situation was to write to Allen J. Brack, a former Blizzard president who stepped down.
It was at this point that he was offered a new position in a different department, which he accepted with a subsequent reduction in salary and status.
