The movie Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is just a few days away from being released in theaters around the world, so Microsoft and SEGA have wanted to celebrate it in a very special and somewhat curious way, because they have presented a couple of new Xbox Series controllers in which its “casing” stands out.
These two controllers are based on Sonic and Knuckles, but what is striking about them is the fact that they are covered with hair, as you can see in the image above. Those of Redmond affirm that touching them with our hands will remind us of the bristly texture of the hedgehogs themselves that inhabit nature.
Personally, it is not very clear to me to what extent they will be really comfortable, but, as they say, the colors are up to you. Instead, what is much better is the Xbox Series S that has also been designed for this feature filmbecause it is a black model, with an image of Sonic and Knuckles, but the center circle is inspired by the typical golden rings of the saga.
Of course, if you are one of those who plan to get hold of any of these products, unfortunately you will not be able to because none of them are for sale. They are only available through a contest on the xbox twitter account and only those who reside in the United States can participate in it, so you already know what you have to do if it is your case.
