Elden Ring is astonishing the more than 12 million players who already have it in their possession, getting lost in the Middle Lands to discover a multitude of creatures, face bosses as horrible as they are powerful, discover a multitude of secrets or surprises and, of course, die over and over again (although if you use our guide you die less).
Among the discoveries of the community there is one that has gone viral in recent days, a wall that is apparently just an illusion and that is located in a somewhat advanced area of the game (we are not going to tell you what it is to avoid spoilers) and that disappears after dealing a whopping 50 blows with our katana, sword, mallet, ax or weapon that we want to use for the occasion.
Elden Ring’s illusory walls are hard enough to find, but one user on the Elden Ring subreddit found one that takes over 50 hits to reveal. pic.twitter.com/KHaCGPG84S— PC Gamer (@pcgamer) March 18, 2022
This wall has sparked laughter and curiosity from players, with many of them (including myself) thinking how naughty they can be in From Software, but in reality, however, it seems that this wall is suffering from some kind of damage. bug since, for example, when it disappears it does not produce a characteristic sound present in other illusory walls and also gives access to an area that can be accessed in a fairly simple way, without enclosing any secret or special object, so most likely, in reality, this wall was at some point an alternative route open in the game that later decided to “cover” it by some kind of design decision.
apparently some fake walls in Elden Ring take multiple hits to reveal, and oh my god this changes everything
