Rumor – PSVR 2 Release Date Is Targeting Q1 2023

Sony Interactive Entertainment will reportedly launch PSVR 2 in the first quarter of 2023, according to PSVR Without Parole, a YouTube account that has accurately leaked details on the new headset in the past.

According to their sources, PSVR 2 will not be released this year during the holiday season as speculated, but will make it out in Q1 2023. This is partly due to the fact supply issue are still plaguing PS5, and Sony wants to ensure that its flagship console isn’t suffering from the same issues when PSVR 2 is launched.

In addition, the extra time allows for Sony to manufacturer more PSVR 2 devices in time for release, which is obviously a good thing and allows the format holder to avoid any potential stock issues.
