Netflix‘s Stranger Things brand has remained one of the platform’s biggest properties. The show’s first four seasons were all record-breaking additions to the streamer’s library, though with several years passing between each of them, fans are eager to see the story wrap up for Stranger Things Season 5. Now fans have gotten their first glimpse at the show’s conclusion with the all-new teaser trailer for Stranger Things Season 5 which has been released online via Netflix.
The Duffer Brothers created the series which first premiered on the platform back in 2016. Nearly a decade has passed since then, with the series having released additional seasons in 2017, 2019, and 2022, respectively. Now, three years following the show’s fourth season in 2022, we’ll finally be getting the fifth season which will conclude the story.
Here’s the official teaser for Stranger Things Season 5:
The returning cast members for Stranger Things Season 5 include Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Cara Buono, and Jamie Campbell Bower.
In addition to so many returning faces, the fifth season will also include newcomers Linda Hamilton, Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, and Alex Breaux. Details regarding Hamilton’s character are being kept under wraps, but knowing that she played Sarah Connor throughout several installments of the Terminator franchise including the 1984 original makes her an exciting choice for the season.
Overall, this looks like a fun way to expand the world once again while bringing the storylines from the first four seasons to a close. Stranger Things Season 5 is scheduled to be released later this year via Netflix.
