I completely agree with you that it’s overpriced. At $50 there should have been a Jamie Foxx head, extra hands, and even a flight stand.

It was $35, though. It’s not a $50 figure.

Edit: Ah, unless you’re talking Canadian prices. Not sure where you live.

No, definitely doesn’t justify the price. As I said before I completely agree with you that it’s overpriced. At $50 there should have been a Jamie Foxx head, extra hands, and even a flight stand. I’m just glad to see the double ball peg joint, if true, being utilized.

And I’m not trying to come across abrasive. I just reread my post and I was like Damn I must have been heated. Hot flash maybe. But TBH I was angry at this thing from the onset. This is just terrible. Just so terrible. And I do love the double ball joint concept. It is amazing on the G.I. Joe and it’s a full time thing with them along with the drop pins in the legs. How they got so far ahead of ML on this front is crazy. And I know it’s the difference of a license Hasbro owns versus a license they lease but to me that’s always been a BS argument. The accommodations for the price to land the license is accounted for at bid time. The money is already gone. To go throughout the lifetime of the agreement and try to cut corners and pinch pennies to try to recover that money prevents you from making full use of that license. It’s just a silly excuse.

And that’s cool. And they still gave this figure some of that extra love they typically give to most movie figures but does it really justify the added price? Especially without the movie likeness? And I also agree there are many characters from both MCU and Comics that could benefit from DD joints but that should be automatic and it’s something they should have learned to utilize correctly and often when applicable a long long time ago. But for an extra $10? No way. What happens whey they start to use drop pins for the legs like they should have used with the new Miles Morales figure instead of giving him that wonky looking thigh gap and hips? Does that tack on another $10?

It’s an issue with Amazon listings as well. I love it when these guys provide the actual links. I don’t know how they do it. I’ve gone in and typed the description of the figure verbatim to what it says in the links provided on this site and it still doesn’t come up. Even just typed in Marvel Legends and searched 12 pages deep and still never found them. That’s why I always come here first.

Weird. I typed in “Marvel Legends Jean” and it came right up. But I agree Target’s search function sucks royally and is deeply unpredictable.

Anyway, first time in a while I’ve managed to get a Target exclusive Legend pre-ordered from them. Woke up later than I intended, but still early enough to get an order in.

It is always odd, which combo of words gets the thing you are looking for up on all these sites. Sometimes less is more, and sometimes I need every extraneous word, like “series”, to get it to show up. Maybe I typed too much instead of only “ML Jean”, hahaha.

Sorry, I feel like I just take you for granted. I don’t interact with you like the other commentors, like your just a part of the site. I never take the time to say, thanks for always being there, and thanks for all the help! Hope you know I appreciate it!

Well thank you, I appreciate that. I wish I also had more time to interact with everyone this board as well!

I do agree this was way overpriced. But I heard that this figure has double ball pegs (diaphragm and waist like imports) which would be cool if Hasbro is finally trying that.

Got it. Wouldn’t have found it without the link provided, so many thanks! I don’t know why they do that. I’m typing in every variation of “Marvel Legends series Jean Grey (X Factor)”. You’d think just Marvel legends would do, and their brand new exclusive would come right up, but nope.

Re: No Way Home Electro

I can give a fair review right now just looking at the pictures. JUNK! Overhyped, overpriced junk. Not only does he not have an alternate head sculpt or likeness of the movie character but he’s too short and too chunky. Just look how the Norman Osborne figure and most of the Spideys tower over him. Facially he doesn’t even resemble the artwork on the box which doesn’t resemble the Fox at all. This is a pure cash grab. And yes I understand that term is overused but there is simply no other suitable synonym other than the word JUNK which I already used. They banked on all the people they knew were going to want to finish out the roster for the movie and they tacked another $10 dollars on it for whatever reason. Bigger window I guess. And they just put it out there. I’m sure they did okay with it too but this is utter nonsense. The laziest of lazy efforts. And that’s saying a lot for Hasbro.

I do agree this was way overpriced. But I heard that this figure has double ball pegs (diaphragm and waist like imports) which would be cool if Hasbro is finally trying that.
