Hello chicks!!! The Sun enters Capri on December 21, regenerating goals and aspirations into a realistic and coherent perspective.
Happy solstice! π―οΈβοΈπ Winter is coming to the northern hemisphere and summer is coming to the southern hemisphere. The hours of light and darkness reach their maximum imbalance! Over the next three months, this trend will gradually shift towards equilibrium.
When the Sun enters Capri, we raise the theme of the following season. In this one, the Sun squares the nodes which will leave Aries-Libra on January 12th. This implies that recent eclipses have a new window to express themselves, and that many people may be feeling at a decisive and transcendent moment.
Additionally, at the solstice, the Moon opposes Saturn, completing a cosmic cross that strains and energizes the mutable signs. We will have to adapt to somewhat demanding circumstances, question ourselves a lot and adjust!
If what we are looking for is to strive for a feat that will restore us, these months can promote our focus and preparation. But you will need to be patient, because the figure of the large cross does not move easily and can also be somewhat discouraging.
In the days following the solstice, the Moon enters Libra, in the last quarter above the South Node. The second square of Jupiter and Saturn is also perfected. Maybe we have too much on our minds?
Previous relationships and balances could reach a point of no return! If you experienced something intense around the October 2 eclipse, these days could bring back that flavor.
We might also feel that our illusions are being challenged, sparking reactions of resistance, opposition and confrontation. Feelings of vulnerability and fragility may trigger the need to set boundaries, take responsibility, or make a plan.
Do you remember your aspirations in December 2020? The square of Jupiter and Saturn has to do with this. If you’re thinking about realizing a vision, you’ll now see what you have and what still needs to be worked on. This will bear fruit there in 2030, when Jupiter and Saturn oppose each other.
Don’t be discouraged, plan for the long term.
Finally, as the ruler of this Capri season is Saturn in Pisces, below I leave you with a reflection on our part on planet Earth… π
What a thing to live in a little blue ball, suspended in front of a star. We place our feet firmly on the Earth and forget that there is no calm or anything like that, because the cycles of the seasons constantly move us through time and space, through the universe.
The universe, this vast darkness full of silence… in which the rules of earthly life are foreign, strange, foreign. Anecdotal. The immensity of the universe welcomes us and accepts us without warning us. And there we live distracted, wandering, dreaming the dream of life.
But it is the circles we make around the Sun that mark the course of the days and hours. Sometimes we have the bright, warm side of the planet, and other times we have the cold side. The weather, the seasons and their cycles remind us where we are. π
The climate unites us and equalizes us, because there is no point in being big or small, skinny or poor or rich or whatever, when a giant wave comes, a black cloud, a flood or a sun of justice.
The seasons are the driving force behind the astrological mandala and the calendar. The availability of food, the length of the day and the changes in the landscape that welcomes us depend on it; the cycles of plants, fruits and animals, and also, of course, our state of mind.
Of course, seasons are a little complicated, and we all know why. Something tells me we won’t miss Earth at all when we’re gone! He will forever bear the scar of having welcomed us.
Nor is it a scar of death, for the Earth will outlive us. Earth will continue its journey long, long after us, until one day the Sun explodes and is pulverized to a new beginning. Poof!
So… even if in our world the rule of individualism and sufficiency prevails, we are part of an ecosystem. And from this point of view, no one would be more important than a cloud, a breath of air, a bird or a mushroom. Everything would be an expression of the same thing.
So the pain of the earth, the sea and the trees; the distress of animals who no longer find a forest, the corals which turn pale and become skeletons… Each little drama destabilizes the environment which nourishes us, which encourages us and which lives us.
Even the disappearance of the smallest being is an irreparable loss, like a hair that falls, heavy as lead, or an emotion that freezes in the chest and impairs breathing.
How can there not be mental health issues when we normalize paving and varnishing our environment to death, ripping our roots out of the mycelium and planting ourselves in a plastic pot? Everyone in their own pot. Irrigation hours, day and night, measured with a relentless and half-arbitrary stopwatch. And compete for an extra minute in the open!
No no. We need to know again that we are part of it. Any hierarchy or differentiation is an illusion. We must remember that our root is not made to revolve around itself in a small space, but to become entangled in an undifferentiated way with everything else. And to nourish the soil that nourishes us.
Happy solstice, fuss and happy holidays! πͺΈππ²
